Detailed Itinerary of School Trip to China
Day 1: Shanghai (D)
On arrival to Shanghai, our tour guide will pick teachers and students up. You get a little pre-trip preparation on the transfer to your accommodation before your evening gets going.
Day 2: Shanghai’s Glitz and Glamour (B, L, D)
Today, students and teachers will be served with breakfast then you should gather at the lobby of the hotel and wait for tour guide and driver. You will be taken to famous destinations such as People’s Square, Nanjing Road. During the tour, students get to learn about China’s rapid growth in urbanization. People’s Square always serves as a tranquil park, a place for people’s meetings like business or family gatherings. Nanjing Road is the district of shopping, with 5.5km in length and more than 1 million visitors per day.
In the afternoon, have lunch in a town restaurant. Take a short snap before transfer to The Bund, which is the perfect mixture of East and West; the Financial center is located on the east with a huge of skyscrapers, and the buildings which have the colonial appearance to the west.
For the evening, we will have a delicious dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Water Recycling Company Visit (B, L, D)
On your second morning in Shanghai, make sure you have a full breakfast for a long trip. Students and teachers will be learning about the city’s sustainable business. Next, we will explore Canature, a water recycling company, which has a cooperation relationship with some big names. There are a lot of topics for us to discuss, for example, the Shanghai World Expo, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and visit plenty of schools and malls if it is possible. Students will have chances to observe their office, take photos and see their recycling products.
After having lunch, your tour continues with Shanghai’s financial district, Lujiazui. Then you can head to the top of the Shanghai Tower and enjoy the fantastic view of the whole city
Later, we will return to the hotel before it gets dark, take your time to have a shower and have dinner in a local restaurant. The activity available at night for you is to contemplate the city’s beautiful night scene while cruising on the Huangpu River. Morning: Spend the morning at the Shanghai Sewage Treatment Plant. Learn about the sewage treatment process and raise your awareness of the crucial work they’re doing to protect the environment. Afternoon, have lunch and get on the Bullet Train. We hope that the bullet train to Beijing only takes 4.5 hours, getting you to the next leg of your journey by the evening. They know what they’re doing – this is the world’s longest high-speed railway network and also the most extensively used. Morning: It’s your first day in Beijing, let’s enjoy your breakfast, head for the Shougang Waste Factory, used to improve the ecological environment of Beijing after the successful bid for the Olympics. Then, pop in to see the garbage disposal process. This offers a down to earth experience to firsthand witness the garbage treatment process. Have a taste of Beijing cuisine for lunch, then take a rest at the Summer Palace. Take a stroll through the wonderful grounds and enjoy a wooden boat trip across the palatial lake. Before night falls, we will come back to the hotel and have dinner. Time after that is free to you, you can either go exploring Beijing at night or relax in your rooms. Students and teachers start a new day with breakfast then prepare for a trip to the outskirts of the city and you might spend 2 to 3 hours to hike to every separately beautiful section of the Great Wall. This is one of the world’s wonders recognized by UNESCO and people from all over the world. In the late afternoon, get crafty at a bamboo bike workshop. Learn the processes involved in creating China’s most commonly used transportation. You’ll be talked through design, sustainability, and ethos. Students and teachers will be driven to the hotel and have dinner in a local restaurant. Have breakfast and pack some necessary things you should as tour guide instruction. We will spend most of the day in Tianmo, a small desert you’ll reach by coach. You’ll see mountains, a reservoir, and dunes – a stark contrast to the city! Enjoy your lunch here then watch The Tianmo Film and Television Base which is located here, specifically to film for movies with desert scenes. Return to the hotel in the city and have dinner. Today, we have a busy day, thus, have breakfast and prepare for yourselves the most comfortable and suitable clothes. This is because we have fun activities and test your skills of martial at a Kungfu lesson; our journey then continues exploring the classic imperial Chinese architecture of the Temple of Heaven. Go visit a teahouse – take the chance to experience a Chinese tea ceremony. In the afternoon, students and teachers have lunch at a local restaurant. After taking a rest, we will learn about China’s ancient imperial history at Tiananmen Square and also the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City has the world’s reputation as the largest imperial palace left in our world. Take a walk to Jingshan Park, for spectacular views of the sunset of Beijing. Enjoy your dinner with delicious Peking roast duck and spend your free time at night strolling in Beijing streets. In the last day staying China, you will be served with breakfast. Teachers and students have free time to do what you like before we take you to the airport.
