Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kyoto (B)
Say hello to Kyoto. Our guide will wait for students with welcome-board, serve them a special breakfast and comfortable accommodation to refresh before taking a scenic drive to Kyoto by chartered car.
Day 2: Kyoto Discovery (B, L, D)
In the early morning, we will serve students Japanese breakfast before taking them to Nijo-Jo Castle. The castle acquires a reputation for its elegant traditional Japanese architecture style and beautiful garden surrounding. After that, we have a short visit to Kinkakuji Temple (the Golden Pavillion). This three-stories temple built to overlook the large beautiful pond which in the middle standing an islet with two idyllic trees.
After having lunch, the next destination is Kiyomizu-Dera Temple which called Pure Water in English. This World Heritage Site is famous for its wooden stage surrounding by a forest of cherry blossom and maple trees.
Next, students will have a great chance to cycle along the Shirakawa River to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and willow trees before driving to Kyoto Imperial Palace Park.
We complete our amazing day with a visit to Higashiyama District. It is a great time for the students to get a glimpse of ancient Kyoto. Higashiyama District is home to plenty of wooden houses, local restaurants, and traditional merchant shops along the streets.
At the end of the day, we transfer to the hotel for a special dinner. Overnight in Kyoto.
Day 3: Himeji (B, L, D)
Coming to Himeji, we drive to the center of Himeji city to visit the elegant Himeji Castle. Inside the castle is all about wooden architecture and this is also a popular cherry blossom spot during the blooming season. Afterward, we reach Kokoen Garden to witness a stunning view of picturesque sceneries. Interestingly, students can enjoy green tea in the tea ceremony house with a delightful atmosphere.
Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Himeji.
Day 4: Nara Deer Park (B, L)
In the early morning, students will savor breakfast before visiting Nara Deer Park, where is home to over hundreds of freely roaming deer. Actually, deer is considered as the symbol of Nara. We will purchase some deer crackers to feed these adorable animals, some of them will make students surprise by bowing to ask to be fed.
After exploring Nara Deer Park, we head back to the hotel for lunch and a short break.
Day 5: Arashiyama (B, L, D)
The next destination in this educational trip is Arashiyama bamboo forest– one of the most reputable sights in Japan. The site is filled with temples and shrines, and Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is a must-see spot. After having lunch with special sushi, students can freely stroll around the forest, soak in the tranquil atmosphere, and listen to the harmony of light wind swaying bamboo stalks. How interesting it is!
As the sun begins to set, we transfer students back to the hotel for dinner and break time.
Day 6: Kyoto Departure (B)
We finish the student tour with a welcome breakfast and then catch the flight home. The student tour ends. We encourage students to apply what they have learned from their experiences back at home and school.
